Meet our pastor

Pastor Jalen and Keyonna Seawright share a deep love for Jesus, family, and the local church. Together with their four daughters, they have a heart to build a church where people from every generation, culture, and walk of life can encounter God, experience genuine community, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.

Jalen serves as the Lead Pastor of LifeChurch Troy. A pastor, worship leader, musician, and songwriter, he is passionate about preaching and teaching Scripture in a way that is faithful, practical, and relevant to real life. Keyonna has a heart for children and families and is passionate about creating environments where kids can know Jesus, grow in their faith, and genuinely love being part of the church.

Their journey to LifeChurch Troy was shaped through years of serving, growing, and being discipled at LifeChurch Southfield under the leadership of Pastors Alan and Marcia Tumpkin. It was there that God continued to shape their lives, deepen their love for ministry, and eventually cultivate the calling to help establish a new church community.

At the heart of their vision for LifeChurch Troy is a simple conviction: church should be a place for real people to encounter the real God in the middle of real life. Their prayer is to build a diverse, multigenerational church that makes disciples, strengthens families, serves its community, and helps people take their next step with Jesus.
